Silkline connects with your other systems (e.g., an ERP, MES, or IMS) to automatically track receipt status and quantities.
When a receiving event occurs in another system, that event calls Silkline's API and updates the quantities received and status of each line item in the event.
When items on an order are received, all followers of the order automatically receive a notification indicating which line items were received. Receiving events are typically immediate, but email notifications are sent every 15 minutes.
When a line item is partially or fully received, the workflow step for that line item is updated to the "Received" step. Note: an item that has been partially received will show its workflow step as "Received". The quantity received will update when further receiving events happen, but the status will already show received.
Silkline supports tracking of partial receipts. A partial receipt is defined as when the quantity received is greater than 0 but less than the quantity ordered. Buyers can view, search, and filter this data from the Line Items view.
