Grouping helps to visually organize data by a certain dimension, such as supplier or need date. For example, you might want to group by supplier to see all of a supplier's open lines. Alternatively, you might group by need date to see which items are coming due in the next week.
In the line items view, you can group on these dimmensions:
Supplier
Item
ETA
Need Date
Order
Buyer
Requester
You can layout groupings by row or by column.
You can export the current line items view to a CSV file. This can be particularly useful for material planning workflows like a clear-to-build report where you need to marry procurement data with BOM data including make parts. The exported CSV retains the columns and filtering of the view.
